Completing My Contribution Project

Completing my Polyglots contribution project was one of the most rewarding parts of the WordPress Credits Program. During this project, I successfully translated 105 WordPress strings into Spanish (Costa Rica), exceeding the original contribution goal.

Through this experience, I gained a better understanding of how localization helps make WordPress accessible to users from different countries and languages. I also learned how contributors work together to maintain consistent and high-quality translations across the platform.

Looking back at this project, I feel more confident using WordPress and I have a greater appreciation for the collaborative effort behind open-source software.

Final Reflection

The WordPress Credits Program gave me practical experience beyond building a website. By completing my Polyglots contribution project, I learned how an international open-source community collaborates and how individual contributions can make a meaningful difference. This experience strengthened both my technical skills and my understanding of collaborative software development.
