Building My Personal Website

Building my personal website was my first complete experience using WordPress. Before joining the WordPress Credits Program, I had very limited experience creating websites with this platform.

Throughout this project, I learned how to create pages, organize navigation menus, customize templates, and structure information in a clear and simple way. I also became familiar with the WordPress block editor and how themes affect the appearance of a website.

Rather than focusing on creating a complex design, I decided to build a clean and functional website that documents my learning process and my participation in the WordPress Credits Program.

This activity gave me a much better understanding of how WordPress works and increased my confidence to continue learning and contributing to the project.

What I Learned

Creating my own website helped me understand the basic structure of WordPress and how pages, templates, menus, and content work together. It also prepared me for the remaining activities of the WordPress Credits Program.
